Our Programs include
In our Infant/Toddler program, we strive to make sure every child's special individual needs are met by following a daily routine and by using many infant-toddler stimulation techniques as well as addressing every child's sensory needs so they may develop to their fullest potential. To help infants and toddlers learn to trust, to feel valued, and importantly the teachers respond promptly, consistently, and lovingly to meet every need.
Here your child will practice and fine tune all those skills he or she has been working on. The children are learning the foundations of language development and how to engage in cooperative play. The program is designed to foster social, independence and self-help skills while in a safe and loving environment.
Our preschool program offers a wide variety of hands-on material and activities so the children may express their individuality and creativity. Knowing that children learn best by doing, the teachers create a positive environment that contains many age appropriate activities. The children learn to make choices by rotating interest centers within the classroom. By using the Pinnacle curriculum, the teacher focuses on the development of every child's social skills, emotional skills, cognitive skills and physical skills. The goal of our program is to help children become independent, self-confident, inquisitive learners who are not afraid to try out their own ideas and to think their own thoughts.
Our Pre-K program is designed to meet the individual needs of each child in preparation for kindergarten by concentrating in the areas of social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. Through the organization of the environment, selections of age appropriate toys and materials, an organized daily schedule, and communication with the children. Our program along with the pinnacle curriculum has been designed to meet learning objectives that will help your child move toward their potential as they explore and experiment with materials and activities in the classroom. The goal of our Pre-K program is ensure children are ready for kindergarten.
Kindergarten is a time for children to expand their love of learning, their general knowledge, their ability to get along with others, and their interest in reaching out to the world. Our kindergarten program encourages the growth of children's self-esteem, their cultural identities, their independence and their individual strengths. Kindergarten children will continue to develop control of their own behavior through the guidance and support of warm, caring adults.
We offer a developmentally appropriate school age program, which allows children to be flexible and foster independence, while still having adult supervision. Because there are not a lot of choices during their academic day, our program allows the individual child to choose how they spend their time away from school. We offer organized games, creative arts, individual "down time", cooking projects, acres of outdoor play, field trips and most importantly - FOOD! Because of the design of this program, the children are able to feel the comforts of home. Summer and school vacation programs are available for children who are enrolled in our Kids Club program.
